Norfolk Accident Rescue Service

Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS) save lives on Norfolk's roads by complementing the Ambulance Service with highly trained volunteer paramedics who attend serious accidents when and where they can.  There are currently 10 volunteers who use their own transport to bring specialised training and specialised equipment to the scene of serious road accidents.  Lives of people such as Samantha are saved because of the actions of volunteers like Paul, who undertook emergency stitching at the roadside to stop what would otherwise have been fatal bleeding.  

The Charity does not receive any state funding and is dependent on fundraising and donations.

We will be raising money for them during the whole of 2017 in order to buy much needed further equipment for roadside life-saving.  To learn more go to:
